Istanbul'da, Usta Bir Japon...Ioki / Love Sushi...Especially Ioki's Sushi

Sushiyle ilk tanışmam felaketti; neredeyse çıkartacaktım. İkinci yiyişimde ise sushiden sadece nefret etmekle kaldım. Ne zorum varsa, sushiyi sevdirmeye çalıştım kendime. Sonunda da başardım. Şu anda en sevdiğim yemeklerden birisi. İstanbul'da güzel sushi ne yazık ki olması gerekenden çok daha pahalı ve az yerde var. Zuma, Vogue ve Akmerkez Home Store Cafe başarılı sushi yapıyor ama dediğim gibi her zaman gidip yiyebileceğim uygunlukta değil fiyatları. İoki ile tanışmam işte bu yüzden harika oldu.

The first time I tried sushi, I almost vomited. The second time, I only felt huge dislike. Don't ask me why, but I just felt that I had to keep going and for some reason like the dish. I'm a stubborn person and in the end, sushi became one of my favorite foods. Unfortunately, good sushi in Istanbul is expensive. That's why I am super happy to have been introduced to Ioki restaurant.

Singapur Lezzetleri - Mikuni / Tastes of Singapore - Mikuni

Singapur'da muhteşem yerlerde muhteşem lezzetler tattık. Bir önceki yazımızda da her şeyi denemek için ne kadar çaba sarf ettiğimizi görmüşsünüzdür. Ama hiç tartışmasız en favori iki yerimiz Fairmont otelinin içindeki Japon restoranı Mikuni ve St Regis otelinin içindeki Çin restoranı Yan Ting oldu. İkisi hakkında da yazılacak, gösterilecek çok şey olduğu için bu seferki yazımızda Mikuni, bir sonrakinde de Yan Ting'den bahsediyor olacağız.

Ozgur and I had an amazing time in Singapore. Almost the entire experience was built on the exploration of delicious food. From our previous post, you can probably guess we did all in our power to try as much as possible. But two places managed to leave everything else behind and capture our hearts. Mikuni, the Japanese restaurant inside of the Fairmont hotel, and Yan Ting, the Chinese restaurant inside of the St Regis hotel. Because there's so much to tell, so much to show, we decided to give both their own posts. This one will be about Mikuni and the next about Yan Ting.
